Our History

Our humble beginnings on Sheridian in Oklahoma City
While in prayer one day in the beginning of 2002, the Lord placed it in our hearts to begin an outreach by the bus station in Oklahoma City. Our first outreach was June 22, 2002 on the sidewalk. We served tea and cookies and sang songs and prayed for people. It started slowly but soon we were serving 50 to 75 meals. Some were travelers off the bus, others were ex-cons, alcoholics, and drug addicts. As the months went by, the weather got colder and we could no longer stay outside. In October of 2002, we laid hands on 419 West Sheridan and ask God to give the building to us. One year later we moved in and began "The Celebration Center". That was October of 2003. Since then we have served thousands of meals and snacks. We have prayed for countless people to be healed, delivered and saved. We have seen people who were homeless and jobless, get jobs, start businesses and go to school for job training.
We were sent to the historic "Stockyards" area of Oklahoma City to begin a new work two years ago. Please pray with us that God will pour out His Spirit in this very needy area.
